Change Management Training Content
Companies, and specifically medium and large sized enterprises, have recently been engaging in lots of discussions about training staff to manage change.
For as long as we've been creating courseware, and that is a long time, change management is one of those topics that many trainers find useful to include within multiple training courses.
In the past, change management projects used to only involve staff at a senior level so training opportunities were fewer. However, these days more and more staff are being asked to assume more active roles within change initiatives. As a result more staff need to receive training on with how to manage change.
So what is change?
Change is the only constant that we can rely on in the business world. It is critical for organizations to:
- Understand change
- Promote change
- Cope with change
- Value change
Although it seems an obvious question to begin with - the differences in how people perceive change is quite amazing. We find that the easiest way to understand change is that it invloves knowing where you are and where you want to be - all you have to do now is get there.
Seems pretty straightforward doesn’t it!
Well that is the theory but the practice can be a little bit harder.
